LARKINROAD – SHIPPING POLICY
Welcome to LARKINROAD. We take great pride in creating and handling your keepsake gifts and journals. To ensure the best experience and full transparency, please review our official shipping terms and guidelines below. By completing your purchase, you agree to these policies.
1. Processing & Handling Times

Standard Processing: All standard orders are packed and processed within 1 - 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

Peak Seasons & Holidays: During peak holiday seasons (such as Father's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas), processing times may extend to 2 - 3 business days due to high volume.

Note: Processing time is separate from transit/delivery time.
2. Estimated Shipping & Transit Times
We ship our items via reliable major carriers (such as UniUni, USPS, UPS, or FedEx). Once your order is processed and handed to the carrier, the estimated shipping times are as follows:

Standard Shipping: 5 - 7 business days

Express Shipping: 1 - 3 business days
Please note that transit times are estimates provided by the carrier. Larkin Road cannot be held legally or financially responsible for unexpected carrier delays caused by weather, high seasonal volumes, or routing errors.
3. Tracking & Carrier Scanning Delays
Once your package ships, you will receive an automated email or SMS containing your tracking link.

Delayed Scans: It is common for carriers (especially USPS) to experience high volume and delay initial package scans. Your package may be in transit even if the tracking status reads "Pre-Shipment" or "Awaiting Item."

We do not issue refunds or cancellations for packages that are actively in transit but experiencing carrier scanning delays.
4. Address Accuracy & Modifications

Customer Responsibility: It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to provide a completely accurate, secure, and deliverable shipping address at checkout.

Immediate System Processing: Because our warehouse system queues and processes orders almost immediately to ensure fast delivery windows, we cannot guarantee order cancellations or address modifications after an order is placed.

Incorrect Addresses: If a package is misdelivered, returned to sender, or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address entered by the customer, LARKINROAD is not liable. A reshipment fee will apply to send a replacement to a corrected address.
5. Delivered but Missing Packages (Stolen/Porch Piracy)
If your tracking link confirms that the package was successfully delivered to the address provided at checkout, but you cannot locate it:

Please check with family members, neighbors, or your local building manager.

Check around porches, side doors, and mailboxes.

Wait 24 hours, as carriers occasionally mark items as "Delivered" prematurely.
LARKINROAD is not liable for packages that are stolen, misplaced, or lost after a carrier provides a verified Proof of Delivery (POD). We recommend filing a formal claim directly with the carrier or your local police department for mail theft.
6. Lost in Transit
A package is legally considered "Lost in Transit" if the tracking link has shown absolutely no movement or updates for more than 14 consecutive days. If your package meets this criteria, please reach out to our team at shoplarkinroad@gmail.com, and we will gladly arrange a replacement shipment for you.
